§ 151.04. APPOINTMENT OF HEARING OFFICER.

(A) For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this chapter, a Hearing Officer shall be appointed by the Village Council upon the recommendation of the Mayor.
(B) The Hearing Officer shall be paid on a per diem basis for conducting hearings or a prorated amount for a partial day.
(C) The Hearing Officer may not be a village employee.
